VHS Video Grabber driver problems

Heya!

if i'm going about this wrong way. So I have my fathers old VHS and a bunch of family videos that I would like to digitize. I also got a USB-VHS USB Grabber connector that my old man had probably bought from some shady techie somewhere god knows when. Khi big surprise it will not work. The usb connects and plants some random driver on the PC but that's it. There are no instructions and the only brand name I can find is "Video Grabber". I've tried with all sorts of scout and finder drivers and windows is clueless too ..

Please help.
